You know, I almost let this site die. I mean, look at it, I get approximately 30 unique visits per month. I rarely update, and I got tons of people who have sites more popular than mine, hate me and and would love nothing more than to see this site go the same way of every other "dot com bust" and disappear from the face of the internet forever. Well to all nay-sayers and evil-wishers out there, you can kiss my white butt!

I thought that I had just about run out of ideas for this site. After all, I've had quite a few people already tell me that I am just copying The Best Page in the Universe in my rants. I will admit, Maddox was a part of my longing to get a page online. His site is an excellent description of what can happen if you start something and don't quit. I respect him and his site, but I don't copy.

I thought long and hard about what I would write on this evening. Since I have been gone for so long I probably have a few readers who haven't experienced a new post yet, so I decided something that everybody should agree on, and if you don't you are wrong. I'm going to write about giving lawbreaking aliens in our country amnesty as long as they get a job. Yes, I am going to write about how idiotic it is to open our borders the way our President wants to.

As most of you who read my site can tell, I like our President, to a certain extent. I did vote for him, because I wouldn't elect someone who would lie to me  through their teeth, something I feel this President has not done. However, granting amnesty to illegal aliens has got to be one of the dumbest things any president has ever done. I am one of these people who don't believe that Mexicans and other illegal aliens come here specifically to steal our jobs. I believe that they know a better country is just on the other side of the Rio Grande and they want to be a part of it, because they are better off as outlaws in America than an assembly line worker in Mexico.

One of my relatives told me that he likes this idea, because there are some jobs "Americans won't do".  Well you know what I say to that?

Yeah, you heard me right, I just asked the President to give this man a job. Normally I hate the government providing for any citizen. You ought to either get it on your own or suck it up and take what comes your way. But if we are going to spend millions of dollars to implement a program that will allow lawbreakers from another country to stay in our borders, why don't we use that same money to help citizens that are currently homeless or without jobs? The following paragraph is my proposition.

thepageoftruth.com proposes that instead of allowing illegal aliens to stay in country, we kick all the Illegal immigrants out, and give these jobs to the homeless/ jobless. But they still have no place to stay you say? That is why the government or company needing workers would build a "barracks" close to or on the property  where the men would work, and not pay the workers to much. Herein lies the beauty of this system. The company lets the men stay in the "barracks" and feed them. Room and board for work. Of course these men still need an income, so for this program, these men would receive a small salary, even less than minimum wage, as they wouldn't need to pay for rent or for food. This would be somewhat like the Citizen Conservation Corps established in 1933.

I think it is fair to say that the CCC built our national forests. These men stayed in "camps" much like the one I just described, and earned a total of 30 dollars a month. 25 of which went to needy dependents. 30 dollars back then was a good deal of money, but you see where I am going with this. Companies could do this too, with the government reimbursing them for house repairs and things of that nature. If they are jobless, and have a family to support, let them do the option of sending money back to their loved ones. If they have no family, give them all the money, or put it in an account for them so it will still be there when they are no longer working.

To keep you from thinking wrong about me, I did not just say round up all the homeless and stick them in prison camps away from everyone else. If the homeless/ jobless person does not wish to accept his governments help in this manner, let him stay on the streets or in continuing financial decay. But I have a sneaking suspicion that if you did make this offer to those people sleeping on the street in the winter, you might be met with a pretty warm response.

In conclusion, there are better ways of solving our problems then to say that you'll ignore the fact that half of the people slipping in are terrorists and will blow something up in allah's name the first chance they get. There are better things to do with our tax dollars than using it in a program to grant amnesty to illegal aliens. I do not propose "giving" money to the homeless. I propose making them earn a living if they so desire.
