Where to begin, where to begin. I was going to do a rant on the so-called "latch-key generation" of children this time, but I got so much good response- I consider hate mail a good thing- that I decided to do another political type rant. On what you may ask? I have a few windows open, I will even provide links to the stories so you can read them yourself and interpret them yourself, so you won't follow me like sheep. Not that I would mind that because then I would have world domination. One step at a time though, first my own area.

        Anyway, back to the subject. The story here, states that Israel is planning to go after Iran if they don't go for our peaceful ways out of making nuclear weapons. "But they aren't making weapons. Its for peaceful purposes!" my liberal readers say. Pull your head out of your bum, idiots. We have a nation on our hands that is full of terrorists that hate us, our way of life, and the fact that our Christian nation has so much more freedom than them( Yes we are a Christian nation, more on that in another rant). You can go read the article if you want. I can give you a basic rundown, in one sentence even! The USA and Israel are ready to fight if need be to keep a terroristic country from getting nuclear capabilities. That is what it says in a nutshell. An Iranian spokesman was quoted in it as saying, "No pressure, bribe or threat can make Iran give up its legitimate right to use nuclear technology for peaceful purposes", Nuclear technology for peaceful purposes? How many countries pursue Nuclear technology without turning it to harmful purposes? Not a terrorist ruled country like Iran, that's for sure.

        In this story, The United Auto Workers are keeping Marine reservists from parking on their "Solidarity Building" parking lot in Detroit. Now I know of a few of you are thinking I'm going to say that they don't have the right to do that.  But I know that they do. It is their parking lot, they can do what they wish, it is not public property. However, I am considering buying foreign made cars now. Just as I no longer shop at Target because they will not let the USMC bring their "Toys for Tot's" there. I am a strict Ford man. They are great cars that, if treated right, will last far beyond anyone's expectations. But anything made by  workers that support this union that will not allow marines with pro-Bush bumper stickers and foreign made cars to park on their lot, I will not buy. *NOTE: They are only doing this to marine reservists, not anyone else!*

        THIS has got to be the highlight of my day. An anti-American journalist from Italy, Giuliana Sgrena, decided she was going to go to Iraq to help show what America was "really doing" to the people in Iraq. A Dutch reporter warned her at the airport to be careful not to be kidnapped. She laughed, told him that she was on the terrorists side. That she had nothing to worry about. She was very sorely mistaken, for sure enough, she was kidnapped. She tried to convince the terrorists to kidnap an American soldier, but they wanted her. You see, America does not deal with terrorists, we don't dole out ransom money. Italy does. To have this waste of human life released, Italy paid between 1 and 10 million dollars. The terrorists dropped off the girl to Italian agents, who then proceeded to Baghdad International. At the checkpoint they were shot at from American troops, killing the driver and wounding the communist reporter. This is where the story gets interesting. Sgrena claims the troops were trying to kill her, even though she can't explain how they knew she was in the car. In fact, the Embassy and the 3rd Infantry Division both say they were not informed that she had been rescued. Sgrena claims the rented SUV that they were driving slowly approached the checkpoint. The troops say it was going about 100 mph before they had to shoot into the engine block to stop it. The story goes on with this stupid woman saying numerous things about how the troops didn't give any warning before opening fire and things like that. The most interesting though, is how they wanted her dead, but saved her anyway. If they wanted her dead couldn't they just have left her in the car to die, then inform us of it a few days later? The troops got her out, tended to her and she still curses them. That sounds like a liberal- I mean- communist for you.  Have fun reading the stories! New hate mail will be up next time!
